Studio / Practice Room

Here at Worleys' Strings 'n' Things we are very proud of these facilities. The studio and practice room is fully equipped with 100 watt Marshall and Laney guitar amps, , a Selmer all-valve bass rig, an upright piano and a 1962 Hammond organ, (as used on "A whiter shade of pale"), with 2 x Lesley speakers.
A 5-piece Pearl drum kit with Paiste cymbals and a 1000 watt Sound Craft "Spirit" PA system with 2 x 200 watt bass bins, 2 x 200 watt heads and a 10-channel mixer complete the equipment list. The crowning glory is the 24 channel mixing desk, on the other side of the screen, for all of your recording needs. All of our equipment is available for you to use, whether recording or practicing but you are welcome to bring your own gear if you prefer. We believe our charges for these facilities are highly competitive. Depending on how many tracks you want to record and the number of instruments involved you can complete your CD for about £150 for a band or £60 for a solo artiste - just ring for an exact quote. As far as practice sessions are concerned it's just £7 per hour or £20 for a 3-hour session. Check the availability calendar below then contact us for bookings.
